Gazing over the water

I've had an idea in my head for ages to repurpose one of my favourite dies, and here it is out of my head and onto a card!

I used the Spellbinders Day at the Beach dies which you can see on this card here. I used the body and arms but made a head and then used the ribbons from the hat to cut hair. The little bag is from a Concord and Ninth boutique set.

I stamped the Skyline stamp by Andy Skinner on a piece of card and then used a Funky Fossil stencil watermark over the card with pink and blue inks, using a little circle mask to make the sun.

The "industrial chic" bench she is sitting on is a snippet of old kanban paper and I used a TL die set for the corners. I used some washi tape that I only got the other day, to give a bit of scenery to where she is sitting.

The greeting is from an old TL die set and the dotty paper from a Papermainia pad.

I used snippets for everything apart from the background but only took pictures of the body/hair pieces.

Thanks for looking. I'm off to The Snippets Playground with this card. They've got a fabulous prize supplied by Val, which is perfect for someone on the DT at the new TAG-ALONG (and ATC's) challenge!.

It's satisfying when an idea comes out of our heads and translates into reality. Great card.
